Accessory Breast Removal Surgery
Breast is composed of glandular as well as fatty tissue. These both are fundamentally responsible for the shape and size of your breasts. The footprint or the base upon which the breast rests is normally located between 2nd to 6th rib. However, it can sometimes develop beyond this normal location. The sites of accessory breasts are many along the milk line of Schultz, but the commonest one seen in clinical pratise is in the area of your armpits (technically known as the axilla)and accounts for 2-6 in every 100 women. It makes the armpits bulky and often visible in short sleeves with arms by the side of body. In some cases it becomes more enlarged and painful before menstruation and during pregnancy. Weight gain makes it appear worse.
